Our award-winning team of experts can help you choose the right machine, or give any advice and support you need when you get it home. They’re based at the Dyson Research and Development centre in Malmesbury, Wiltshire – the same place Dyson machines are developed. Who better to answer questions about Dyson technology than the people who helped develop it?

 

Over the phone

You can call a Dyson expert free on 0800 298 0298 open from 8.00am to 8.00pm Monday - Friday, and 8.00am to 6.00pm Saturday and Sunday. You’ll be put straight through to someone who knows your machine inside out. No endless menu options or being passed around different departments.

Dyson experts have machines to hand, and often take them apart while they talk to owners. It helps them explain how to fix things. They’re on-hand seven days a week.

Freephone number

The freephone number for customer service is displayed prominently on every Dyson machine, not hidden at the back of an instruction manual. If you have a question about your machine, or if there’s a problem, we want to hear about it.

96% of problems are fixed first time around (versus a 78% industry average).

At your home

If things can’t be fixed over the phone, we can arrange for a Dyson field service engineer to visit you at home, usually within 72 hours. They’ll phone in advance so you know when to expect them. If you prefer, they can also look at your machine at your place of work, so you don’t need to wait in.

There are 145 Dyson field service engineers in the UK, and many have been with us since the beginning. There’s nothing they don’t know about our machines. Between them they travel three million miles each year helping Dyson owners.

For out of hours help (or if you just prefer to find answers online) you can use the online diagnostics service at www.dyson.co.uk/support. There are step-by-step answers to common questions about every Dyson machine, right back to our first DC01 vacuum cleaner. 9 out of 10 visitors resolve their query without ever picking up the phone.
