Auto carpet height adjustment

Conventional cleaner heads have a limited number of height settings. Too low and the cleaner head plunges into the pile making it hard to push. Too high and suction just leaks away. The cleaner head on DC27 adjusts automatically to each floor – creating a tight seal at all times and removing more dirt.

New brushbar design

Making the brush bar from glass-filled polypropylene improves airflow efficiency, removing more dust particles agitated from the carpet pile. Surprisingly, spacing the bristles further apart and spinning them slower also picks up 17% more ground-in dirt.
