Wall fixing requirements

Do not fix to unsupported plasterboard (drywall) as this will not provide a safe and secure installation for the machine and may also invalidate the guarantee.

Where only unsupported plasterboard is available for installation, a Dyson splashback must be used. Contact the Dyson Helpline for further information.

If the wall has an airgap, the fixings used must be of a sufficient length to provide a secure installation. Don't use sealant when fixing the machine to the wall.

Was the Airblade installed on an unsupported wall?

Please see the installation guide attached.

Ensure that the correct fixings have been used for your wall type and the weight of the product.
