Arranging a service
Your Dyson vacuum cleaner should provide you with many years of excellent performance and satisfaction, however you may wish to treat your machine to a routine service if it is out of guarantee.
Our fixed charge service of £99.00 which includes the motor and £79.00 which excludes the motor, (inc VAT) is fully inclusive of spare parts and labour (excluding accessories and filters) as per the service engineer's inspection and electrical safety check. Parts fitted and labour are guaranteed for 12 months or until service support ends for your machine, whichever is soonest. On arrival our Dyson Service Engineer will assess your machine and advise you of the correct course of action before any work is completed.
Our Dyson Service Engineers also carry an extensive range of Dyson accessories which you will be able to view and purchase during the visit.
Once a service is booked, you have the right to cancel up to the day before the appointment by contacting one of our Ask Dyson experts on 0800 954 0154 open from 8.00am to 8.00pm Monday - Friday, and 8.00am to 6.00pm Saturday and Sunday.
Please note, we are no longer able to supply spare parts, or carry out service or repairs for the following machines:
- From July 2011 - DC01 and DC02.
- From February 2015 - DC03, DC04 and DC05.
- From May 2015 - DC11 and DC16.

How long will it take Dyson to service my machine?
Service can usually be carried out in your home or place of work. Please speak to one of our Ask Dyson experts on 0800 954 0154, open from 8.00am to 8.00pm Monday - Friday, and 8.00am to 6.00pm Saturday and Sunday, and they will book you in for the next available day thats convenient to you.

What time will the Dyson Service Engineer arrive?
When you book a service, your Ask Dyson expert will advise you which day your Service Engineer is able to visit.
Your Service Engineer will try to contact you prior to your appointment to confirm an estimated time of arrival.

How much does a service cost?
Vacuum Cleaner Service Tariff
Our fixed charge service of £99.00 which includes the motor and £79.00 which excludes the motor, (inc VAT) is fully inclusive of spare parts and labour (excluding accessories and filters).
This service is available for machines outside the Dyson guarantee period or that have been used outside the terms of the Dyson guarantee as detailed below.
Washing Machine Service Tariff
From the end of December 2012 we will no longer be able to supply spare parts for your Dyson washing machine and from 7th December we will be unable to take bookings for Dyson engineers to carry out service or repair work on these models.
You can visit the diagnostic section here should you require any advice or assistance on general cleaning and maintenance of your machine. This support will also continue to be available via our helpline 0800 954 0154. If someone does offer to service your Dyson washing machine after this date, please be aware they won't be from Dyson or operating on our behalf.
When you book a service you can expect:
- A full inspection of your machine by a Dyson Service Engineer.
- All required parts replaced as per the service engineer's inspection (parts and labour guaranteed for 12 months or until service support ends for your machine, whichever is soonest).
- A full electrical and safety test.
- Leave the site as they found it and dispose of any parts replaced during the service.
- Easy payment direct to the Dyson Service Engineer by debit/credit card, cash or cheque.
