New technology
Dyson Ball
The new DC24 and DC25 upright vacuum cleaners sit on a ball and manoeuvre around furniture and obstacles with ease.
What makes the new Dyson uprights different?
Ball™ technology
The motor is inside the ball giving the machine a low centre of gravity making it even easier to steer.
Ultra-lightweight and compact
At just 5.4kg the DC24 is 1/3 smaller than a full-size Dyson upright, but it has the same pick-up. The handle also compresses so you can store it in small spaces.
The problem with conventional uprights
The four fixed wheels found under conventional vacuums are only designed to move in straight lines - forward and back. That's why changing direction is so awkward.
The new Dyson sits on a ball. It turns on a sixpence.
