To purify a whole family room properly, the Dyson Pure Cool™ purifying fan goes beyond standard test conditions,¹ by also automatically sensing particles and gases, capturing 99.95% of ultrafine particles, and projecting and circulating purified air using Air Multiplier™ technology.² Only the Dyson purifying fan is designed and tested to do all of this.

¹The AHAM AC1-2015 standard defines purifier performance in a specified test chamber, based only on cleaning efficiency rates.

²Tested for filtration efficiency (EN1822) at 0.1 microns and whole room coverage (TM-003711 & DTM801) in a 27m² room.

I am extremely impressed with the fan and I am very happy with it. It is well designed, has great features, performs well and the build quality is what one would expect from Dyson. From first seeing the packaging, to unpacking it and using it for the first time, the fan operates well and is an excellent addition to the Dyson fans we already own. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product to anyone. Some more detail as below. Packing - Very well packaged and easy to identify all parts / components. Very secure and well protected. Instructions and instruction book - well laid out instructions and very easy to put the fan together and easy to understand all instructions. I especially liked the suggested app which I installed on my phone. The functionality and the ability to bring up room conditions and control the fan is excellent. The connection to my wireless network, the software / firmware update and the registration process was extremely easy to follow and the overall set-up process was completed without issue. Fan design - extremely like the fan itself and it looks very good. The fan looks well put together and very robust. Good quality finish. Fan features - excellent. The night mode is very good and timer works well. The display is also good and I like the fact that all parameters can be seen and tracked on the iPhone app. The movement of the fan is very quiet and the airflow is excellent. The weight of the fan is surprising in terms of how heavy it is but it is not a problem and again talks to the quality of the fan itself. Airflow noise at high speed is slightly louder than I expected but at lower fan setting then this is not an issue. At night it was not an issue due to the speed of airflow. If I was to criticise anything about the product then it would have to be the length of the power cord which is very short for a fan and so I have had to connect it to an extension lead so as to allow it to be best positioned in the room. That is the only issue I could find with it.
