Using your machine

Power your machine on or off, and increase or decrease airflow using the middle dial.

Sleep mode and Oscillation are activated using their respective buttons to either side.

Understand your LCD Screen

The screen shows your chosen airflow speed. It also shows when Sleep mode is activated and displays Sleep timer intervals as you cycle through them.
Setting the oscillation angle

Watch our video guide on how to customise the angle of oscillation for your machine. Choose from a range between 15° up to 70°.
Sleep mode

Press the button with the moon icon for the quietest airflow settings and a dimmed display.

Additionally, it allows you to activate Sleep timer.

Set a seven-day schedule for your fan to operate at specific times, day or night. Personal cooling when you need it, to save energy and suit your routine.

Sleep mode is activated on the Dyson Cool CF1 fan using the remote and the timer is reflected on the screen.

Sleep timer

Program your fan to turn off after a chosen length of time. Press the Sleep timer button on your remote to cycle through the pre-set intervals, from 15 minutes to 9 hours.

The battery is type CR2032 and also known as a ‘Button Cell’.

Can I carry the machine by the loop amplifier?

No, we recommend that you always unplug the machine and carry it by holding the base.

Can I use this machine with an extension cable?

No, the use of an extension cable is not recommended.
