Statement on James Dyson crypto and investment scams
2 June 2026
-
Dyson is aware of fraudulent activity being carried out on fake news sites, social media and other platforms that purports to show James Dyson endorsing fake cryptocurrency or other investment scams.
This is utterly false: there has been no endorsement of any kind. Neither James Dyson nor Dyson, or any member of the Dyson family, would ever endorse or promote any cryptocurrency or investment scheme. All associated articles, videos and comments are fake and usually AI-generated.
Make no mistake: this is a criminal attempt to steal your money. Dyson continues to report this activity to the relevant authorities including UK police, Action Fraud, the Financial Conduct Authority, the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau, and the platforms hosting the content.
Dyson, or anyone associated with the company, is not responsible for this activity and urges anyone who discovers all such scams to report them on the relevant platform, and to Action Fraud, the UK’s National Fraud and Cyber Crime Reporting Centre.
