Can I start using the light before connecting to the Dyson Link app³?Yes, but the light cannot track your local daylight, or personalise light for your age, task and daily routine, until you connect to the app.
How does this light know my local daylight?Daylight constantly changes – and it varies in different locations. So we developed a unique time, date and GPS-driven algorithm to calculate the colour temperature and brightness of daylight, anywhere in the world. Software validation was supported by data selected from over a million atmospheric measurements.
Will I ever need to buy replacement LEDs for this light?No, the LEDs are engineered to last for decades and can't be replaced².
